Dedicated To Your Health

Kramer Pharmacy has a long history of serving the Ottawa community. In 1866 Adam Dobson, the first druggist in Ottawa, built the first drug store in the city. There has been a drug store at this location ever since.

In 1950, the store was purchased by Bud Kramer and renamed Kramer Drug Store. Gene and Joan Milburn owned the store from 2006-2018. Knowing that many independent pharmacies are being absorbed by large chains, they sought an independent pharmacy owner to continue the one-on-one personal care at Kramer Pharmacy.

Current owners, Robb and Meredith Rosenbaum, recognize the impact independent pharmacies can make in a community. Independently owned pharmacies can better work with each patient to meet their personal needs as well as be good partners within the local community.

Originally from Kansas City, KS, the Rosenbaums also own Funk Pharmacy in Concordia, KS. The addition of Kramer Pharmacy is keeping with the Rosenbaum’s mission to promote independent, community pharmacy in order to provide individualized, personal healthcare services.

We are proud to continue the 150 year tradition of community pharmacy to the Ottawa and surrounding communities. Stop in and let our friendly, knowledgeable staff help care for you and your family.
